- Dear All, Two years ago, Melissa was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, Ewing Sarcoma, commonly known as bone cancer. For the last two years, I have been dedicating my life, my energy to save my daughter’s life. Sadly, as you know Melissa passed away November 8th 2007. In memory of my daughter Melissa, We will be hosting a gala this following June. The Angel Gala will promote the Foundation, raise awareness about Ewing Sarcoma cancer and also raise money to bring a little bit of magic in the heart of those suffering from this cancer and their families.
