More than 10 million sharks are caught every year primarily for shark fin soup. Many species are almost extinct. Sharks are an important part of our marine ecosystem and need to be protected.
Sharks are finned alive and then thrown back into the ocean where they sink to the bottom and drown. This is a disgusting display of human gluttony, ignorance, and disrespect for the oceans and the sharks that inhabit them. - Impact:
