Scholarship-a-Thon 2008
In addition to our main scholarship program, this year CCC will be awarding additional scholarships during March, April, and May. This 3-month event is the easiest way for childhood cancer survivors to receive money.
Current scholarship applicants, past applicants, and past recipients are ALL eligible to participate and receive scholarships through the Scholarship-a-Thon.
Instructions for Participants:
Step 1: Set up a fundraising page for the Scholarship-a-Thon. See some examples below!
Step 2: Invite friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else you know to support you. They are your Scholarship-a-Thon Team! They can donate directly through your fundraising page.
Step 3: Once you raise $100, you are eligible for a $100 scholarship.
Step 4: Receive scholarship money!
Remember, small donations add up so invite lots of friends and family to support you. You don't have to ask for huge donations!
On each award date, the two fundraising pages that have raised the most money since the last award will each receive $100.
Note: Awards are only given to childhood cancer survivors for undergraduate or graduate education. Must be US Citizen or Legal Resident.
