Feed, Clothe & Educate the Poor
Imagine living in a home contructed out of scrap metal & cardboard with no electricity or running water. This is the plight of squatters in the Philippines. No land, makeshift homes, little to eat, no work & no education for their children. Help us make their lives a little brighter. Below is a list of some of the organizations your donations will help:
(1) Tahanan ni Maria - a 50 bed facility in Cavite housing seniors abandoned by their families & found living on the streets. Some suffering from dementia.
(2) Our Lady of Peace Hospital - a hospital in Manila providing free medical care for the poor, vocational training for tribes and a feeding program for malnourished pre-school children.
(3) Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish - a Catholic church in Manila providing help to the poor in neighboring depressed communities.
(4) Gawad Kalinga Villages - Gawad Kalinga builds homes for squatters and Bundles of Joy distributes donations in some of these villages.
(5) Elementary School in Manila - free education for the poor.
