Provide Disaster Relief to Victims of Typhoon Ondoy in Manila
Typhoon Ondoy came fast and furious. On September 26 an unsuspecting metropolis was inundated with 10 hours of rain that submerged 80% of Metro Manila. The downpour was equivalent to 30 days of typhoon force rains. Commuters were stranded as streets became impassable. Homes were flooded and people climbed onto roofs to escape the rising flood waters. Thousands have been rendered homeless by this devastating storm. Typhoon victims have lost everything and are in dire need of food, water, medicine, diapers, baby formula, clothes and other basic necessities.
You can support the typhoon victims by making a donation, by volunteering for disaster relief programs or by spreading the word to friends and family.
This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible.
