End Homelessness
Breakthrough is an international human rights organization that uses media, education and pop culture to promote values of dignity, equality and justice in the world's largest democracies-the United States and India.
The United States:
Our current campaign in the U.S focuses on immigration. Unfair immigration laws deny due process and violate human rights. These laws affect all immigrants: legal residents, those fleeing persecution, students and undocumented people. We have video stories, animations, speeches and a video game (www.icedgame.com) and 3D experience (www.homelandgitmo.com)that we have produce to illustrate this injustice.
Play our new video game- ICED - I Can End Deportation - www.icedgame.com
Experience immigrant detetion first hand in Homeland Guantanamos (www.homelandgitmo.com).
India:
Our current campaign in India,"Is This Justice?" aims to bring attention to the growing incidence of stigma and discrimination faced by women living with HIV/AIDS in India.
