Band of Parents
What a great group of parents that are fighting, not only for their kids, but for future kids that will be diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. People contributing to this cause are directly impacting future treatment options for kids, it doesn't get much better than that!
*** From bandofparents.org ***
We are parents of children diagnosed with a cancer called neuroblastoma who want to help further the research and drug development desperately needed to save more children. Neuroblastoma is an “orphan” cancer; pharmaceutical companies are not developing new treatments because there is not a large enough patient base to make development profitable. Funding from the government is similarly limited. Time is
running out for many of our children -- money stands between them and a cure.
As parents, we have banded together to increase public awareness about neuroblastoma and to raise funds for the development of novel therapies. We are working in partnership with a talented and dedicated team of doctors at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) who are fighting to save our children from this deadly disease.

We really need to be supporting these families. They are not feeling like they live on the same planet with the rest of us. The more money, the more research, the faster, less painfull cures will come. These little angels are all so brave. It breaks my heart, what they have to live with every day. We know God is watching over them, but sometimes we feel they need extra strength from Him. So far, He hasn't disappointed. Our prayers are flowing up many times a day. The bracelets are GREAT> Even after my normal prayer times, I am reminded many more times when I see the bracelet. Every time-I pause and pray. It makes me feel like MAYBE I'm doing something. While all other times I feel very helpless. We want him home to love on!

I'd like to hear about new treatment options, such as next generation humanized 3F8 monoclonal antibody, that are being developed.
