Areyvut's Chesed Fair at HANC

At the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County, or HANC, located in West Hempstead, Long Island, Areyvut ran a chesed fair for students in grades ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade.  These young Jewish students created candlesticks for those in need, crafted paper flowers for the elderly, wrote letters to Jewish-American soldiers, made their own Shabbat-o-grams, and decorated personalized tzedakah boxes.  For more information, please go to www.areyvut.org.
