  1. Byron Trackwell My First Experience w/ Amnesty USA

All our Soldiers need amnesty from SLAVERY; our closeted Resisting Soldiers in Iraq, past convicted Resisting Soldiers, Resisting Soldiers on the run, and Resisting Soldiers who are now in prison!  Amnesty from the Iraq war and future unconstitutional wars is protecting our Soldiers who have been robbed of their justice, freedom, truth and dignity by the unconstitutional theft of their Bill of Rights within the Constitution they so protect with their lives!  That story at http://www.resistinggi.com/ is my tribute to Amnesty International that seeks their help for finding caring activist attorneys like former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark to represent our Class-Action Resisting Soldiers.  It is a historic brewing hot Landmark Supreme Court Case with unimaginable residuals and is not a mainstream media fire yet, but the freedom of press sparks like this Writing on the Wall will eventually find a judicial flame for Truth, Justice and the American Way!  My first experience with Amnesty International USA is this testimonial praying for Soldier’s human rights.

  2. From the Belly of the Beast

Amnesty International advocates for the great ideals of humanitarianism we all would like to see duplicated worldwide. What a strange irony that here, in the US, we have the most prisoners per capita, refuse to respect antitortute laws and face an ever-more repressive government. Truly, supporting this organization has an impact on the lives of those far more dire circumstances than the average US citizen faces. But more locally, we should recognize that we will need the campaigning and assistance of Amnesty International should our own country continue on its trek to prison statehood.

  3. billie macdonald A must!

I have been active in this orginization one way or another since Highschool.  This an orginization that truely saves the lives of those who people give up on.  It provides funds to help exonerate those the system has overlooked or just doesnt care about.

  4. A Provider of Hope

I support Amnesty because it is often the last provider of hope: hope for those being persecuted, hope for those living in fear, hope for those living under tyranny and oppression. Amnesty International gives people hope that, no matter what their present circumstances, they will not be forgotten.

  5. Inderias Bhatti Reasons of my support

Beacuse I affirm the vision and activity operations of Amenesty International. Not only that I raised up my hands to the God of our Fathers Abrahim and Jacob to bless and empower Amenesty International so that there may be more hopes and support to the people living under injustices ,fears and silence.

With Prayers and blessings to the persons, places and activism of Amenesty International,

    Inderias

  6. Katharine Clark Respected for its advocacy and its efficacy

Amnesty International, with its well established political connections in Washington and the UN, has made human rights the number one issue of this and last century. Their ability to increase awareness, mobilize volunteers, and change international policy regarding human rights violations is some of the best in the world. I recommend donating or volunteering as they do make a difference in the lives of millions.

  7. Craig Johnson Nobel Prize Winner for a Reason

Amnesty is, and has been for the past few decades, at the forefront of advancing human rights abroad and exposing abuses far and wide.  Their success in advancing the cause of human rights was recognized with their Nobel Peace Prize in the '70s, and they remain one of the most effective and recognized organizations in the field.
