Science & Technology are the solutions to disease - my son Adam has struggled with Wolfram Syndrome Diabetes since the age of 7. We have always focused our efforts on controlling the diseases so that they did not control Adam. He has A1C goals of 5-7 his current A1C is 5.8. Our greatest challenges have not necessarily been from disease but from a healthcare system designed to control access to care not disease. We need your support not only in research but in access to these solutions when they are found.

- My beloved godmother is in an ICU right now with kidney failure, I think from diabetes. My grandfather and my uncle got heart problems from diabetes which killed them. And now I've been diagnosed with it as well. There is a popular perception that diabetes is easy to avoid and/or to treat, and that is not so. It is still a very dangerous disease and a public health problem.
