Programs
The Palm Out Poverty Initiative is All for Africa flagship campaign. The plan is to plant one million oil palm trees on approximately 17,000 acres of land. The one million trees will be subdivided into 700 individual oil "trusts" each "trust" will consist of 1,500 trees on 25 acres of land. The start up cost for a "trust" is $20 per tree, or $30,000. This includes the cost of seeds, fertilizer and the expertise needed to plant, grow, maintain and harvest the palm oil. Each "trust" can generate an annual payment of $25,000 per year over a period of 30 years.
