Alana's Achievers was set up for two main reasons.  The first is to help young kids between the ages of 4 and 16 achieve their dreams and help set positive goals in life. We will reward those working hard: to keep their grades up, perfect attendance, good citizenship. Whatever is in our power to make their journey a little bit easier, whether it monetary or mentorship we hope to play a big part in their road to their personal stardom.

None of this would have ever been possible without the support and love from my family and friends.”

Secondly Alana's Achievers will focus on promoting the importance of a good education and a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to reach out to our youth and keep them focused on education, eating healthy and getting exercise. 

I have a reading program and scholarship program.  For the reading program, I have partnered with Tra Battle, former San Diego Charger, to create "Tra & Alana's Reading for Life Literacy Program" where we are currently working with 2 schools, 3 classes and have 4 more schools signed up for next school year.  It has been a great success with reading levels, comprehension, test scores, citizenship and attendance improving with every student!

I also have my Scholarship/Mentorship Program to provide financial assistance to deserving students from San Diego County that are excelling in their daily school responsibilities to include good grades, citizenship, and attendance to participate in after-school activities that require fees.

Scholarship recipients are students that exhibit the desire and drive to work hard & go the extra mile to touch others while excelling in their own personal lives. This reward for their dedication & hard work is a small token of my appreciation for their kindness & generosity. This assistance will be provided to students that participate in after-school activities to include: sports (at a club, team or individual) dance class, arts class (painting, music or writing), theater (youth theater, acting class) or educational (tutoring).

Alana's Achievers is under the umbrella 501 (c) (3) non profit status of, Athletes for Education, that has been working to help kids help themselves for over 16 years.
