The African Well Fund, founded in 2002, grew out of the need for clean drinking water in villages in Sub-Saharan Africa. The AWF is comprised entirely of volunteers that assist in fundraising for the purpose and educating the communities in which they live on the impact of water shortages on the health, welfare and economies of villages in Africa.
The African Well Fund has funded a designated program with Africare to build wells in Africa.
