Through its fellowship program and its committment to spreading knowledge of ICT technology, The Advocacy Project has proven itself to be a genuine champion of human rights and social justice.
Lending a voice via the Internet
The Advocacy Project sends Fellows for Peace all over the world. From Ethiopia to Nepal, the Fellows help social justice groups have a voice via ICT (Information Communications Technology). The Fellows spend 3 to 6 months in the field blogging about their experience in order to raise awareness for their social justice group's message, as well as teaching them how to incorporate ICT to help further the organization's goals. AP is a fantastic organization trying to get even the smallest human rights group have their voice heard.
The Advocacy Project works to strengthen the capacity of human rights organizations to produce, use and disseminate their information effectively.
