What is ADNCentral?
ADNCentral is a site that acts as a medium with the main purpose of bridging the gap between able and disabled people and also I believe that mainstream media talk about disability a bit but the fact is it's still not equal. Another reason is for this website is education because I believe that a contributing factor towards discrimination is ignorance, particularly lack of knowledge which intern makes a person afraid/intimidated by the disabled person.
1.2: The 2010 Core Focus Goals
1. to breakdown the social barriers between able and disabled people we choose to call discrimination
2. to bring about equal coverage of disability news and events (e.g. 2012 Paralympics)
ADNCentral is the first indepently run disability media movement in Australia and the World
