The Little Things

Conserve water by doing the little things every day. Turn off the tap when you are brushing your teeth, make sure you taps don't leak and take short showers. These things are not difficult, but if everyone did them, they could make a huge difference.

  1. This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible.

There are many ways to either spil, or to save water. Although our world consist of water for about 2/3, this doesn't mean there is more than enough for all living creatures that are in need of fresh water. Therefore we need to use the water reserves as very valuable for the whole world.

Because it should be self-evident to do so. We shouldn`t waste anything. No matter, if it is a precious ressource or something else.

This summer make sure you have good water hoses that don't leak at the spout. Set your watering can outside during the rain so you can use the water for inside plants!!

I am making this commitment because I understand life does not end for our planet after I pass away. I want my niece to enjoy the natural beauty of our planet and all it has to offer. Plus, I commit to educating her by modeling personal behavior that supports the environment. My niece is 5-years-old and when it's potty time, we don't play around at the sink with the tap water;-) Empower Me! Coordinator, Sandra Granthon Lancaster, PA
