Freedom Ride provides therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with many types of disabilities....cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, autism, developmental delay, attention deficit disorder, deafness, blindness and many emotional and learning disabilities. Freedom Ride reaches out to the more than 54,000 residents with disabilities in Central Florida and makes a dramatic impact on their lives and their families. The facility which is occupied by Freedom Ride is on land owned by the City of Orlando.  The City of Orlando has opted not to renew Freedom Ride's lease and intends to use the land for soccer fields and ball fields.  Freedom Ride would like to renew the lease for 5 years in an effort to allow Freedom Ride time to raise the capital needed to relocate the facility and continue to meet the needs of their riders.
