Help Kids Learn About Enviromental Issues

Okay we all know that eating green veggies is not the most favorite thing that kids like to do, but perhaps they would like to meet The Greens at www.meetthegreens.org, a place where kids can meet eco-friendly animated cartoons, and  rethink, digest, and use all that eco-hype that they're learning in the classroom.

Each episode is hosted by a freaky green teen whose mum is an enviromental journalist.  Each episode presents different enviromental issues followed by games, quizzes and discussions.

Be a good parent or a concerned adult and share this kewl website with kids you know.

  1. This is an ongoing pledge that should be fulfilled as often as possible.

    Pledge fulfilled Jun 30!

IMAGE THAT, EACH EPISODE IS HOSTED BY "FREAKY GREEN TEEN".  When I was a young teenager, "freaky green teen" was a pothead not a giant human vegetable.  Some people stereotype all potheads as vegetables.  In college in Beaverton, Oregon, they called me a brain dead mutant.  I loved it when the professor would read some brilliant thing I had written to the whole class.  I could laugh, because I was smarter than almost all the racist, narrow-minded pinheads that gave me grief.  It would piss people off when a long haired, brain-dead, hippie showed them up.  This wasn't in 1970, this was in 2000, in the mostly Lilly white suburb of Beaverton, in the so called liberal state of Oregon.
