Lala, our most recent rescue...

A few weeks ago we rescued a dog from an abandoned house that had been used as a meth lab. When I got to the house, I saw through the side gate that the backyard was (literally) covered with trash. There was so much trash that the ground was not even visible. A large black dog slowly emerged from the trash and came toward the gate. Though she walked slowly and with a limp, it was clear that she was eager to follow us off the property. We took our new friend, without a collar and without a name, straight to the vet for a full checkup. Well, it turns out that Lala (that’s what we decided to call her) has some health problems, and we need your help. Her hind legs are clearly in pain and (at the very least) we need x-rays to better understand her condition. She also needs medicine for parasites and heartworm. So we’re asking you to help us by donating to Abby Animal Sanctuary. Any amount will be greatly appreciated, especially by Lala.

Thanks for your help!

Rachel
